Spicy peanut sauce


Adapted from the internet and experimentation by Brennan and Mattea Colberg

Ingredients

1 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water [less for a thicker sauce]
1/4 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sugar or honey [honey is preferred]
1 tbsp red chili flakes [more for extra spice]
2 tbsp sriracha
2 "small knobs" fresh ginger, peeled
2 cloves fresh garlic [more if desired]
1 cup peanuts

Procedure

  1. Blend all ingredients except peanuts to a smooth consistency.
  2. Add half peanuts, turn blender on low to chop roughly.
  3. Add remaining peanuts, stir in.
  4. Serve with steamed broccoli and a grain of your choice.
    [We like to use 1 pound of pasta.]
